She studied graphic design at Cleveland State University and Camberwell College of Arts, University of the Arts, London, and holds an MFA from Kent State University, where her research focused on the integration of anthropological methodologies into multi-script type design practices. Her research interests center on design anthropological user research, developing frameworks and ideating large scale solutions, and creating equity. Her research has been presented across the world for designers, typographers, and anthropologists.
When not thinking about design, she can be found wandering art museums, climbing mountains, spinning yarn, making ceramics, or rewatching Moonstruck.
